Helen Anijalg
Co-founder of Roofit.Solar (Head of Strategic Partnerships and Funding Projects)

Since 2018, Helen has been helping the Estonian solar roofing company Roofit.Solar grow and expand into new markets. As a co-founder, her focus has been dynamic over time: managing funding projects, export, public relations, marketing, building B2C sales networks, and promoting strategic partnerships.

From 2020 to 2024, she also led two Norwegian Green ICT projects, through which Roofit.Solar developed an automated production process, three new solar roofing materials, and a unique solar roofing planning software in the world.
Karl-Joosep Pärtel
Co-founder in RAIKU Packaging OÜ, a cleantech company that has developed a breakthrough, 100% natural and compostable packaging material and its production technology.

Karl-Joosep will share RAIKU's story on how sustainability can act as a source of solid unit economics. RAIKU is currently in collaboration with top global brands and has received millions in grants from EU and the Estonian government to fuel its growth
Hendrik Reimand
A founding partner at 2C Ventures, the first Estonian VC fund dedicated to supporting early stage cleantech companies.

2C Ventures invests in companies that develop new technologies and contribute to at least one of the following environmental objectives: climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, sustainable use and protection of water and marine resources, transition to a circular economy, pollution prevention and control or protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems.

Hendrik is a finance professional and economist at heart. He has background from Private Equity and previously helped establish the finance function at the Estonian scale-up Katana Technologies.
Ella Tanskanen
Head of Sustainability services at Greenstep, a professional services and consultancy company operating in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Netherlands, and the UK.

Ella has led Greenstep’s own sustainability work from 2019 and founded sustainability services in 2021. As head of the business line, her focus is on business and service development, customer experience and building partnerships.

Currently, sustainability services team supports companies of all sizes across Europe, with a team of 19 consultants in the Nordics. During the first 3 years, the team supported over 150 companies with topics such as sustainability kick-off workshops, CSRD preparation process, EU Taxonomy, sustainability reporting, carbon footprint analysis and life cycle assessments.
Kim Yrjälä
Adjunct professor at University of Helsinki; Scientific expert of carbon neutral and circular economy at SYKLI.

Kim has applied his research findings into practice in environmental biotechnology with the focus on cleanup of polluted soils by phytoremediation.

He is founding member of the Finnish Biochar Association (FBA, SBY) and was member of the board. He was leading the Molecular Environmental Microbiology (MEM) group at the UH for 17 years before becoming professor at Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University (ZAFU), China, in 2018-2022.

This year, 2024, Kim started working for SYKLI environmental college in Helsinki as a scientific expert of carbon neutral and circular economy.
