Ten companies chosen for the Zebra ScaleUp 1-on-1 phase

The first round of the Zebra ScaleUp program is moving along. On 29^th of January, companies participated in the Bootcamp pitching day in Tartu. The event was held in the industrial-feeling Amarmastuse saal.

Because we wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere for the day as some of the companies were pitching for the first time, the pitching day was only open to the companies that were participating in the Zebra ScaleUp Bootcamp phase.

The companies participating in the Pitching Day pitched for their places in the next phase of the program, which offers one-on-one mentoring with experts who will give the companies tailored help targeted for growth towards the companies’ goals.

Expert panelists assessed the companies

The pitching day expert panel consisted of four external experts. We had the pleasure to welcome Katri Priimägi from Varma, Tanja Piha from Greenstep, Lars Ling from CleanTech Region Invest and Ivo Remmelg from Aerefy as our panelists. The panelists shared their thoughts after the day, and they all agreed that the day had been inspiring with many interesting pitches.

Companies that have participated in the Zebra ScaleUp program say that they have already got more out of it than they could have imagined. The value of networking through the program has also been valuable to them.

We have now chosen the 10 lucky ones who will continue their scale-up journey. In May, you will have the opportunity to hear them pitch in our final Demo Day event that will be held in Tallinn. Stay tuned for more information!
